Amanda Maranca is an artist specializing in ceramic sculpture. She also installs, paints, draws and composes soundscapes. She is a longtime feminist, thinker and lover/hater. She is inspired by the world around her and makes artwork about the beauty and the ugliness that surround us. She is interested in human rights, animals rights and shedding light on injustices.
Amanda received her B.F.A degree in 2012 from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and continues her art practice in San Francisco, CA. |
